Upcoming Clinic Featuring Chuck Jefferson

The OJA is proud to sponsor a clinic with 2008 Olympic Team Alternate and former World Team member, Chuck Jefferson, on December 18th, 2011.  Cost for the clinic is $30 at the door.  The clinic will be held at USA Stars, in Moore, Oklahoma, and will be from 1pm to 5pm.  The clinic will feature 2 sessions during that time and will be open to all ages.  The OJA members will be voting on 2 proposals that have been presented to the OJA during the intermission.  Please see earlier post to review the proposals.  Please Post Flyer

The 2011 Tulsa Winter Judo Training Tournament will be held December 3rd, 2011 at the Tulsa Judo Club.  The attached flyer can be printed and filled out for the touranment.  This is a great tournament for beginning judoka.

The Heartland Results are online over at OKCDT.  The Senior and Senior Men’s Teams are still being worked on, but the pools are completed and online.  There is also a photo gallery and some videos.

New Proposals for OJA

2011 Heartland Team Judo Tournament

The 4th annual Heartland Team Judo Tournament will be held Saturday, October 15th at Oakdale school in Oklahoma City.  Online registration is available on OKCDT’s site (click here), as well as the registration and entry information.  Online registrations are $35, registrations done at the door, on the day of the tournament will be $45.  The tournament is sanctioned through USA Judo under current IJF rules.  Juniors will be a regular tournament, seniors and masters will be teams.
