New Proposals for OJA

2011 Heartland Team Judo Tournament

The 4th annual Heartland Team Judo Tournament will be held Saturday, October 15th at Oakdale school in Oklahoma City.  Online registration is available on OKCDT’s site (click here), as well as the registration and entry information.  Online registrations are $35, registrations done at the door, on the day of the tournament will be $45.  The tournament is sanctioned through USA Judo under current IJF rules.  Juniors will be a regular tournament, seniors and masters will be teams.

Eligibility: Any Judo player, wishing to improve officiating skills.

Specific errors & how to improve those problems.

Directions

From Dallas: Take US 75N to Atoka, OK (the road changes its designation to US 69N), take US
69N to the Indian Nation’s Turnpike, take I.N.P. N to Henryetta, (it becomes US 75N), take US
75N toward Tulsa, exit at I-44E, take I-44E to Memorial Dr. Exit on Memorial Drive, S. get into
left lane. Drive about 1/2 mile and turn left onto 44th St. & then into the parking lot on the left.

If coming from Oklahoma City or Lawton: Take I-44 E to Tulsa, Memorial Dr. Exit on
Memorial Drive, S. get into left lane. Drive about 1/2 mile and turn left onto 44th St. & then into
the parking lot on the left.

From Arkansas: Take 40W to US 69N, take US 69N to US 169S, take US 169S to Memorial
Blvd., exit & turn left, take Memorial Blvd. to 44th St. & then into the parking lot on the left.

From Missouri: Take 44W to Tulsa, exit at US 169, take US 169 S to Memorial Blvd., exit &
turn left, take Memorial Blvd. to 44th St. & then into the parking lot on the left.

Online registration is available for $30 for first division, $20 for second division. Walk up registration will be $40. Entry fee will be waived for active referees at the tournament.
